Police in Slacks Creek are currently investigating an armed robbery that took place at a service station early this morning. According to initial reports, a man wearing a hooded jacket approached the night-window of the Kingston Road service station around 4.55am, claiming to have a firearm and demanding money from the store attendants. The 27-year-old female employee complied, handing over cash from the till before the suspect fled on foot. Fortunately, no one was harmed during the incident, as the man did not manage to gain entry into the store. Authorities are urging anyone who may have information or dash-camera footage from the area between 4.30am and 5.30am to come forward.
