President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the nation, emphasizing the country’s commitment to pursuing diplomatic solutions in the ongoing conflict with Russia. Zelenskyy highlighted the coordination with European and US partners, stressing the need for meaningful diplomacy to achieve a ceasefire and bring an end to the war. Despite the lack of clarity regarding Russia’s plans for negotiations in Istanbul, Ukraine remains resolute in its efforts to push the conflict back onto Russian territory. The President expressed gratitude for international support, particularly from countries like Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, in bolstering Ukraine’s defense capabilities. Zelenskyy also outlined upcoming engagements with Baltic and Nordic countries, as well as preparations for the G7 and NATO summits.
