President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine addressed the challenges of returning, rehabilitating, and reintegrating Ukrainian children who have been illegally deported or forcibly transferred to Russia during a recent event in Kyiv. The event titled “Careful, Fragile: Childhood, War, Occupation, Deportation” highlighted the coordinated attempt to erase the Ukrainian identity of these children. Additionally, Ukraine has shifted its Children’s Day to November 20 to align with World Children’s Day, as per Presidential Decree № 355/2025 signed by President Zelenskyy.

First Lady Olena Zelenska participated in the final episode of the “In Simple Terms” podcast, discussing mental health during wartime and the positive impact of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program “How Are You?”. Ukraine expressed readiness for dialogue with Russia but emphasized the need for clear and reasonable proposals, as stated by Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak during an event at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

President Zelenskyy met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, and discussed diplomatic steps toward peace. The President and First Lady also visited the “Book Arsenal” Festival, purchasing books for their personal library. Furthermore, President Zelenskyy engaged in discussions with U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumenthal, focusing on strengthening sanctions against Russia. The President emphasized the urgency of diplomacy to prevent the loss of human lives due to Russian actions.
