Prisoner Found Unresponsive at Brisbane Women’s Correctional Centre

Detectives from the Corrective Services Investigation Unit (CSIU) are currently looking into a medical emergency involving a 32-year-old woman who was discovered unresponsive while in custody at the Brisbane Women’s Correctional Centre on Friday, May 30. Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) officers promptly provided assistance before the woman was taken to the hospital for further medical attention.

The investigation into this incident is still ongoing, and at this time, no additional details have been released to the public.
