President of Ukraine Urges Strong Response to Russia’s Diplomatic Undermining

President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, emphasized the critical need for immediate action in response to Russia’s continuous undermining of diplomacy, stating that “Not a single day must be lost, because every day of Russia undermining diplomacy costs human lives.” Zelenskyy highlighted the importance of pressuring Russia to cease its destructive actions during a recent address, expressing concerns over the lack of transparency regarding Russia’s “memorandum.” He emphasized the necessity of a united front from the international community to condemn Russia’s behavior and support peaceful resolutions to the ongoing conflict.

During his address, Zelenskyy mentioned meetings with various foreign officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye and U.S. Senators Graham and Blumenthal. He expressed gratitude for their bipartisan support and efforts to bring moral clarity to the situation. Additionally, Zelenskyy announced plans to align Ukraine’s Children’s Day celebration with the globally recognized date of November 20th, in honor of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. He revealed the introduction of a new award, “The Future of Ukraine,” to recognize brave Ukrainian children who have shown resilience and courage in extraordinary circumstances. The award will be presented to deserving recipients next week as a symbol of gratitude and pride for their contributions to society.
