President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, met with the President of the German Bundestag, Julia Klöckner, to discuss proposals aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace in Ukraine. Zelenskyy highlighted Russia’s lack of commitment to peace and thanked Germany for allocating €7 billion in military aid this year with the possibility of further increases. The meeting also touched on direct investments in Ukraine’s defense industry and the support for Ukraine’s EU membership aspirations.
