Samsung has announced the launch of the One UI 8 Beta Program, marking the first-generation upgrade starting with the new Galaxy Foldables. The beta program offers early access to the new software, introducing a multimodal AI agent designed for various Samsung Galaxy form factors.

One UI is Samsung’s integrated software platform aimed at simplifying everyday routines and enhancing productivity and convenience for Galaxy device users. The collaboration between Samsung and Google has paved the way for One UI 8 to debut on the latest foldable devices this summer, with plans for expansion to more Galaxy devices in the future.

The partnership between Samsung and Google facilitated the development of One UI 8, making it one of the first UI platforms to adopt Android 16. The new software evolution not only brings major UX and AI updates but also introduces personalized AI experiences for seamless and natural interactions.

The official rollout of One UI 8 will feature intelligent multimodality, tailored UX for different device form factors, and personalized proactive suggestions. The update will enhance AI features introduced in the Galaxy S25 series, offering users a more customized mobile experience with enhanced privacy features.

In addition to the AI enhancements, One UI 8 includes convenient tools like Auracast for effortless audio connections and QR- and NFC-enabled support for faster customer service at repair centers. The Reminder app will also offer more travel support features, while Quick Share will make sharing memories with family and friends easier than ever.

Samsung users can sign up for the beta program starting with the Galaxy S25 series in select countries, including Germany, Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The future of Galaxy AI is set to begin with the launch of One UI 8, promising a more personalized and convenient mobile experience for users.
