President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine has emphasized the importance of education and the defense forces in recent events. At the “Education of a New Ukraine” conference in Kyiv, key officials including Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal discussed the creation of safe learning environments and the development of new educational infrastructure. Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Olena Kovalska was also in attendance to address the focus on quality education.

In another event marking the Day of the Special Operations Forces, President Zelenskyy honored the exceptionally brave Ukrainian SOF warriors and their families. He met with the warriors and families of fallen Heroes, presenting state awards in recognition of their service. This day will now be celebrated annually on May 27 to commemorate the sacrifices and bravery of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces.

Furthermore, the Office of the President recently hosted a meeting with a U.S. delegation led by Tyler Brace, Senior Professional Staff Member at the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. Deputy Heads of the Office of the President, Ihor Brusylo and Pavlo Palisa, engaged in discussions with the delegation to strengthen ties between the two countries.

President Zelenskyy also highlighted the contributions of Ukrainian companies to the defense forces, emphasizing the production of unmanned systems and long-range capabilities. Plans for new agreements with European partners are underway to attract investments into Ukrainian production, with a focus on maintaining control on the front lines and protecting the lives of Ukrainian warriors.
