The Forensic Crash Unit of the Queensland Police Service is currently investigating a serious car and pedestrian crash that occurred in Woolloongabba around 12:15 pm on May 28, 2025. The incident took place on O’Keefe Street, near the intersection of Wolseley Street, involving a pedestrian and a grey Holden Cruze.

According to reports, the pedestrian, a man in his seventies, sustained critical injuries and was promptly transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for urgent medical attention. Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle, a woman in her sixties, did not suffer any physical injuries.
