Man Under Police Guard After Homicide in Brooloo

A 61-year-old man is currently under police guard in hospital and assisting detectives with their enquiries as part of an ongoing homicide investigation in Brooloo, Queensland. The incident occurred on May 26 when police and emergency services responded to a single vehicle traffic crash on Callemonda Road and Mary Valley Road.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a Suzuki sedan severely damaged after crashing into a tree. Tragically, a man in the front passenger seat and a woman in the back seat were declared deceased. The driver, the 61-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
