Authorities in Queensland have charged a third man with murder in connection to a homicide case in Logan earlier this year. The 52-year-old victim was allegedly assaulted near Rudyard Street in Inala on January 5 and later succumbed to his injuries. The suspect, a 26-year-old man from Cleveland, has also been charged with 17 serious offenses, including armed robbery, kidnapping, and torture.

According to Detective Acting Inspector Daniel Cunningham, the arrest follows months of detailed forensic examination and intelligence gathering. The investigation, which involved multiple scenes and serious allegations, aims to provide justice to the victim’s family. Two other men had previously been arrested in relation to the same case.

The suspect is scheduled to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 26. Authorities are continuing their investigations and urge anyone with information to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers anonymously. The Queensland Police Service is committed to holding those responsible for the crime accountable and appreciates the support from the public and partner agencies throughout the investigation.
