Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, recently convened a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian businesses to bolster support for entrepreneurship. During the meeting, Yermak expressed appreciation for the contributions of entrepreneurs to the country and highlighted the importance of a robust business sector for a strong state. He discussed Ukraine’s diplomatic efforts for peace and announced an upcoming meeting between the President and business representatives to shape the country’s economic policy and strategy. Yermak emphasized the government’s commitment to deregulation and privatization, except for strategic national assets.

Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, disclosed that sectoral and regional initiatives were being incorporated into government discussions to enhance the business environment. The Council for Entrepreneurship Support, under the President’s leadership, is focusing on privatization, investment in defense industries, and economic recovery in frontline territories. The council has expanded its membership to include over 75 representatives from diverse sectors and regions, establishing committees to address business concerns effectively.

Moreover, the Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office, Yuriy Katsion, reported on the productive engagements between government officials and business associations to tackle industry-specific issues. Deputy Head of the Office of the President, Viktor Mykyta, highlighted the success of the national platform “Dialogue Between Government and Business” in facilitating weekly meetings between regional military administrations and business leaders. This platform has led to increased local budget revenues and support programs for businesses, particularly in agriculture and relocated enterprises.
