The incident took place at a residence on Reaney Street in Berserker around 7:55 am, prompting an emergency response. Upon arrival, authorities found the victim with a gunshot wound to the upper chest. The man was swiftly transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital and is currently in a serious but stable condition.
