Two teenage boys have been charged in connection with a series of property offenses in Gladstone over the weekend, as reported by QPS Media on May 23, 2025. The incidents occurred at various locations in South Gladstone, West Gladstone, and Barney Point.

According to the Queensland Police Service, the first incident took place on May 17 at an Agnes Street residence in South Gladstone, where a set of car keys and money were stolen. Subsequent incidents involved break-ins at a business on Side Street in West Gladstone, theft of motorbikes from an Ann Street address, and theft of a wallet and golf carts from a Friend Street location in Barney Point.

A 14-year-old boy from South Gladstone has been charged with multiple offenses including entering premises with intent, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and stealing. He is currently in custody and is set to appear before the Gladstone Children’s Court on May 23. Similarly, a 16-year-old boy from West Gladstone faces charges related to entering premises, theft, and receiving tainted property. He is remanded in custody and scheduled to appear in court on June 27.
