Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, recently held a virtual meeting with diplomatic representatives from Nordic and Baltic countries to align positions on negotiations aimed at establishing a just and enduring peace. During the meeting, Yermak provided updates on discussions in Istanbul, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s engagements in Italy and the Vatican, as well as Zelenskyy’s dialogues with U.S. President Donald Trump and European leaders. Yermak emphasized the need for the immediate implementation of a “1,000 for 1,000” prisoner exchange agreement following talks with Russia. Additionally, plans for the next meeting with Russian representatives and strategies to maintain and escalate sanctions against Russia were discussed.
