The Forensic Crash Unit is currently investigating a tragic fatal two-vehicle traffic crash that took place in Rungoo, north of Ingham, on May 18. The incident involved a grey Holden sedan and a Scania G450 prime mover colliding on the Bruce Highway near the Mullers Conn Range Track around 12:45 pm. Sadly, the male driver of the Holden was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the driver of the Scania, a 59-year-old man, sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are urging any witnesses or individuals with relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward and assist with the investigation.
