Police in Queensland are currently investigating an unlawful wounding incident that took place at a residence on Daintree Drive in Bushland Beach early in the morning on May 17. The incident involved a verbal altercation between three individuals, resulting in two women sustaining stab wounds. A 43-year-old woman injured her hand and is expected to undergo surgery, while a 38-year-old woman suffered a shoulder injury. Both victims were taken to Townsville University Hospital for treatment. The third individual involved, a female, had left the scene before the arrival of the police, and despite a search with the assistance of the Dog Squad, she remains at large. Authorities are continuing their investigations and are appealing to the public for any information related to the incident.
