President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, recently met with the Prime Minister of Sweden, Ulf Kristersson, to discuss the ongoing pressure on Russia for peace and cooperation within the Coalition of the Willing. During the meeting, the leaders discussed the Istanbul talks and coordinated their next steps. Zelenskyy emphasized his readiness to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin, highlighting his recent visit to Türkiye as a gesture of goodwill. Despite the limited representation from the Russian delegation, Ukraine actively participated in the talks. The President also provided updates on the Istanbul meeting and a joint phone call with leaders from France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, and the U.S. President Donald Trump. The discussion between Zelenskyy and Kristersson focused on the need to increase pressure on Russia, cooperation within the Coalition of the Willing, and the development of security guarantees and defense cooperation.
