Samsung Unveils World’s First 500Hz OLED Gaming Monitor

Samsung Electronics has launched the Odyssey OLED G6, the first 500Hz OLED gaming monitor in the world. Initially available in select countries, the monitor promises unparalleled gaming performance and visual quality, pushing the boundaries of display technology.

Building on its six-year reign as the global leader in gaming monitors and its two-year dominance in OLED gaming displays, Samsung continues to push boundaries with the Odyssey OLED G6.

27-inch Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF) features a lightning-fast 500Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time (GTG), and QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440). Powered by advanced QD-OLED technology, the monitor ensures fluid, sharp, and ultra-responsive gameplay — even during the most intense action sequences.

With a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and Samsung’s Glare Free technology, the Odyssey OLED G6 minimizes reflections for uninterrupted play. It is also equipped with OLED Safeguard+, a feature designed to reduce burn-in risk during long sessions.
