Police are seeking assistance from the public after a serious traffic crash occurred in Kybong, Queensland. The incident took place on the Old Bruce Highway, near Traveston Crossing Road, involving a white Suzuki Baleno sedan. The driver, an 80-year-old man, sustained facial injuries and was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition on May 11. Preliminary investigations suggest the man had been driving from Brisbane towards Gympie in the hours leading up to the crash. Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen the white Suzuki Baleno on the M1 or Old Bruce Highway, or who may have relevant dashcam footage, to come forward and assist with the investigation.
