The incident involved a blue Ford Ranger and a gold Subaru Outback colliding at the intersection of Drayton Connection Road and Luck Road around 11:40 am. Tragically, a five-year-old girl who was a passenger in the Subaru succumbed to her injuries after being transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital. The driver of the Subaru, a 64-year-old woman from Vale View, and another child passenger were also taken to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the Ford Ranger, a 19-year-old man from Spring Mountain, was hospitalized as a precaution, while two 18-year-old passengers in the Ford Ranger escaped unscathed. Authorities are currently conducting investigations into the crash and are appealing to anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward and assist with the case.
