Detectives from the Inala Child Protection and Investigation Unit (CPIU) have apprehended a man on 30 charges related to the supply of drugs and sexual offences against a child. The accused, a 40-year-old from North Ipswich, allegedly provided methylamphetamine to a 14-year-old girl he met online over a nine-month period and engaged in various sexual offenses. The man faces charges including supplying dangerous drugs to a minor, engaging in intercourse with a child, and producing child exploitation material. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 14. The Officer in Charge of Inala CPIU, Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Joshua Brewer, commended the victim for her bravery in coming forward and urged anyone with relevant information to do the same.
