Detectives from Tully and Mackay have arrested and charged a 43-year-old woman in connection with a stolen vehicle incident that occurred in Mount Sheridan on April 7. The woman allegedly attempted to flee a Roadside Drug Test, dragging a police officer with her vehicle and causing minor injuries.

According to reports, on May 3, Mackay detectives visited an address on Nebo Road where they discovered the woman. During a search of the property, officers found a rifle, methylamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, ammunition, and other illicit items.

The Carruchan woman is facing multiple charges, including possessing dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of weapons, and serious assault on a police officer. She has been remanded in custody and is set to appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court on July 16.
