Truck Crash Leads to Charges

In a recent incident on the Warrego Highway at College View, Queensland Police have charged a man following a single-vehicle crash involving a white Isuzu truck. The event took place on the afternoon of June 10, 2025.

At approximately 12:45 pm, police were alerted to reports of a truck leaving the road and colliding with a power pole. Upon arrival, emergency services found that the driver, a 43-year-old man from Camira, had fled the scene on foot. He was subsequently apprehended a short distance away and taken into custody.

The man faces charges including one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and two counts of obstructing police. He is scheduled to appear in Gatton Magistrates Court on July 1. Investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
