Police in Queensland have apprehended a second individual in connection to a violent robbery that occurred in Pimlico on May 23. The incident involved the assault of a woman in her 50s and the theft of her vehicle. The assault took place at approximately 8:10 pm in a shopping center car park on Woolcock Street. Four unknown assailants reportedly attacked the woman before stealing her white Subaru XV and fleeing the scene. The victim sustained bruising during the altercation. The stolen vehicle was later found on Ninth Avenue in Railway Estate the following morning. Subsequently, an 18-year-old woman from West End was arrested on May 26 and charged with unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, committing an indictable offense using violence in company, and unlawful use of a motor vehicle. She is currently in custody awaiting a court appearance on June 11. Additionally, a 13-year-old boy was also charged in connection to the incident, facing charges related to unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, violent offenses, and theft. He is set to appear in Townsville Children’s Court on July 1. Authorities are urging anyone with information or relevant footage to come forward as investigations into the case are ongoing.
