Police Probe Series of Suspicious Fires

Queensland police are investigating a series of suspected deliberately lit grass fires in the Capricornia District between August and October, with detectives examining possible links between the incidents.

Rockhampton Criminal Investigation Branch detectives said the fires occurred in the Gracemere, Mount Morgan and Dululu areas. Emergency services extinguished all of the fires, and no injuries were reported.

Police are appealing for witnesses, including anyone with video or other information that could help identify those responsible.
