Queensland police are investigating two armed robberies in Logan early on Oct. 12 and appealing for information, CCTV and dashcam footage. No victims were physically injured in either incident. About 3 a.m., a man in his 20s was sitting in a vehicle on Jutland Street, Loganlea, when he was approached by a masked person carrying a firearm. After threats were made, a silver utility arrived and up to four occupants allegedly stole several personal items before fleeing. About 40 minutes later, police believe the same silver utility was involved in an incident on Wayne Goss Drive, Berrinba. The utility allegedly cut off a white rideshare vehicle before its occupants threatened the driver, a man in his 30s, and a female passenger in her 30s with a firearm and demanded the vehicle’s keys. The victims fled on foot, while the offenders left in both vehicles. Investigations remain ongoing. Anyone with information should contact Policelink and quote reference numbers QP2602015036 and QP2602015038. Anonymous reports can be made to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
