Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 38-year-old man who escaped from the Palen Creek Low Custody Correctional Centre in the Scenic Rim area near Mount Lindesay and Mount Barney on May 27. The man, described as 186cm tall with a medium build, blue eyes, ginger hair, and a fair complexion, is believed to have fled in the early hours of the morning.

Authorities have released a photo of the man, showcasing his distinctive tribal-style tattoo over his left shoulder and crown-style tattoo on his upper right arm. He was last seen wearing a green tracksuit or khaki work gear. Queensland Police are working alongside Queensland Corrective Services in their investigation and urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.
