Detectives from the Major and Organised Crime Squad (MOCS) have arrested a 47-year-old woman in Cairns on multiple charges related to drug trafficking. The arrest was made as part of Operation Xray Gaston, following a search warrant executed on a Cairns North property. The police search led to the discovery of quantities of methamphetamine and heroin, along with a significant amount of cash. The woman has been charged with possession of tainted property, possessing dangerous drugs, trafficking in dangerous drugs (heroin and methamphetamine), and contravening an order about accessing information stored electronically. The suspect is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court today, May 26.
