Samsung showcased its 2027 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany, highlighting new OLED displays, high-refresh-rate technology and gaming features designed for different play styles. The company also demonstrated HDR10+ GAMING, glasses-free 3D and cloud gaming through interactive booth experiences.

The lineup includes the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9, described by Samsung as the first Dual QHD gaming monitor with a 360Hz refresh rate, and the 42-inch Odyssey OLED G7, which features a curved 16:9 OLED panel and a 1000R curvature. Samsung also presented the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8, offering UHD refresh rates of up to 360Hz and QHD rates of up to 520Hz, along with the 27-inch Odyssey G6, which can reach up to 1,100Hz in HD mode.

Samsung said it is working with Activision Blizzard to bring HDR10+ GAMING support to the upcoming “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.” The company plans to expand the technology to more than 20 AAA games by the first half of 2027. HDR10+ GAMING is intended to optimize brightness, contrast and color presentation across compatible displays.

Gamescom visitors also tested gaming experiences featuring “Crimson Desert,” “Cyberpunk 2077” and “Cronos: The New Dawn.” Samsung paired “Crimson Desert” with its 83-inch OLED TV and showcased its Odyssey 3D technology, which produces a glasses-free depth effect. The company additionally demonstrated cloud gaming through Samsung Gaming Hub on OLED televisions.
