A 26-year-old Biggera Waters man has been charged over a series of alleged property offences across Biggera Waters, Runaway Bay and Southport between April 22 and May 10. The charges followed an investigation by detectives from the Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch under Operation Forge.

Queensland Police allege the man broke into vehicles, residential and commercial premises, and clubs, stealing cash, parcels and other property. Police also allege he caused extensive damage to a Biggera Waters car wash and several customer vehicles, and attempted to steal one vehicle.

Detectives executed a search warrant at a Biggera Waters residence on May 11, where they allegedly found methylamphetamine, prescription medication, suspected stolen property and clothing items linked to the offences. Property allegedly stolen from a bowls club and the car wash was also recovered.

The man faces multiple charges, including entering premises to commit indictable offences, drug possession, possession of restricted medicines and receiving tainted property. He is due to reappear at Southport Magistrates Court on May 28. Police said investigations remain ongoing.
