The European Parliament’s International Trade Committee chair, Bernd Lange, will hold a press conference on May 20 following negotiations between Parliament members and the Council on the EU-US trade agreement. The discussions concern legislative work related to the agreement reached between the European Union and the United States, known as the Turnberry agreement, which was concluded last summer. Lange is the rapporteur for two files linked to the deal. The press conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Daphne Caruana Galizia Press Conference Room in Strasbourg. Accredited journalists may attend in person, participate remotely via the Interactio platform and ask questions, or follow the event through the European Parliament’s livestream.
