NVIDIA Touts Surging AI Demand

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure is accelerating sharply during a keynote at Dell Technologies World, according to a company newsroom post published May 18. Huang described demand as “going parabolic” while highlighting new enterprise AI capabilities built with NVIDIA and Dell technologies.

NVIDIA said its Vera Rubin NVL72 platform can deliver AI inference at one-tenth the cost per token compared with previous systems. The company also reported that agent sandboxes run 50% faster on NVIDIA Vera than on traditional central processing units, while enterprise data queries are up to three times faster with the Vera CPU.

The company said about 5,000 enterprises, including Eli Lilly, Samsung and Honeywell, are running AI workloads on Dell AI Factories. The claims were presented as part of NVIDIA’s broader pitch for accelerated computing and agentic AI adoption in enterprise settings.
