Samsung Electronics has announced a global collaboration between its Samsung Art Store and the Moomins, introducing a digital collection of 60 artworks featuring characters created by Finnish artist and writer Tove Jansson. The collection will be available worldwide on Samsung Art Store from May 18, 2026.

The selection includes Jansson’s original black-and-white illustrations, watercolor works and book-cover art spanning decades of Moomin storytelling. It also brings together classic and contemporary interpretations of the fictional Moominvalley, allowing users to display the works on compatible Samsung Art TVs.

Samsung said the collection is designed to give consumers new ways to personalize their homes through digital art. The company’s Art TVs, including supported OLED models beginning in 2026, are central to the experience.

Heeyeong Ahn, vice president of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, said the partnership would bring the Moomins’ themes of optimism and togetherness into homes. James Zambra, creative director at Moomin Characters Oy Ltd., said the collaboration presents Jansson’s visual legacy in a contemporary format.
