A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a bus in Brisbane City on the night of May 16, Queensland Police said. The crash occurred at about 9:21 p.m. at the intersection of George and Turbot streets.

The injured man was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. No one else was injured, and the bus driver is assisting police with their inquiries.
