Samsung Unveils Smarter Screens in Sydney

Samsung Electronics showcased its 2026 lineup of AI-powered televisions and gaming monitors at the Australian Tech Summit in Sydney on May 14 and 15. The event gave media and industry professionals hands-on access to new Micro RGB and OLED TVs, as well as Odyssey gaming displays ahead of their global rollout.

The company highlighted its expanded Micro RGB television range, including flagship 75-inch R95H and R85H models and screen sizes from 55 to 115 inches. Samsung said its Micro RGB AI Engine Pro adjusts color and contrast in real time, while the lineup supports the full BT.2020 color range and includes Glare Free technology to reduce reflections.

Samsung also presented its 2026 OLED range, led by the 77-inch S95H. The television features AI Upscaling Pro, AI Soccer Mode Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro and HDR10+ Advanced technology. The company said its Vision AI Companion is designed to provide more personalized content discovery and interaction, while the FloatLayer Design and Art Mode allow the display to function as home décor.

The Odyssey monitor lineup included the 27-inch Odyssey 3D, which uses eye tracking and view mapping for glasses-free 3D, along with the 32-inch Odyssey G8, described by Samsung as a 6K gaming monitor with a native 165Hz refresh rate. The company also showcased a 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 with 4K QD-OLED resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. Samsung Executive Vice President Hun Lee said the 2026 portfolio was designed to make screens more personalized across entertainment, gaming and productivity.
