Samsung Electronics said it remained the world’s leading gaming monitor brand for a seventh consecutive year, extending a streak that began in 2019. The company cited the latest data from International Data Corporation, which showed Samsung holding an 18.9% share of the global gaming monitor market by revenue. Samsung also ranked first in the OLED gaming monitor segment for the third consecutive year, with a 26% revenue share, according to the company’s summary of IDC data. The figures are based on IDC’s Quarterly PC Monitor Tracker for the fourth quarter of 2025. The company highlighted its latest Odyssey monitors at the 2026 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. The lineup includes a 27-inch glasses-free 3D model, a 32-inch 4K QD-OLED monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 32-inch 6K monitor with dual-mode support reaching up to 330Hz in 3K resolution. Samsung also introduced a 27-inch Odyssey G6 monitor with a claimed 1,040Hz refresh rate, aimed at esports players. The company said its 3D monitor platform supports a growing library of compatible games, with plans to expand support to more than 120 titles during 2026.
