Queensland police are investigating the death of a 66-year-old man in Torquay after he was found with a head injury outside an address on Boat Harbour Drive. Emergency services were called shortly before 5pm on January 6 after reports the man was conscious but unresponsive. He was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital, where he died on January 7. A crime scene has been declared at the Boat Harbour Drive address as investigators examine the circumstances leading to the incident. Police are appealing for witnesses, as well as anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
