Queensland Police have charged two men following an alleged threatening incident involving a motorist near Kumbarilla on August 20.

Police allege the motorist stopped on Kumbarilla Lane at about 1 p.m. when two men in a black Volkswagen Passat threatened him and appeared to be armed with firearms. The motorist left the area but was allegedly followed and threatened again when the Volkswagen overtook him. He was not physically injured.

A 26-year-old man from Ducklo and a 24-year-old man from Dalby were located at a Dalby property the following morning. Each was charged with multiple offences, including common assault, weapons offences, possessing shortened firearms, possessing explosives without authority, entering a dwelling and displaying a prohibited symbol.

Both men appeared in Warwick Magistrates Court on August 22. Police are appealing for information and have urged anyone with details to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
