A 63-year-old woman has died after a three-vehicle crash on the D’Aguilar Highway at Wamuran on August 19. Queensland Police said the woman, from Ningi, died at the scene. Police were called to the crash near Franks Lane shortly after 2 p.m. Initial investigations indicate a white Mazda CX-90 and a white Hyundai Kona were parked on the roadside, with their drivers standing outside the vehicles, when a white Holden Rodeo collided with both vehicles and struck the Hyundai driver. A 22-year-old Deception Bay man is assisting police with inquiries. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and has urged witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage, to contact police and quote reference QP2601615002.
