A 72-year-old woman has died following a head-on collision in Armstrong Creek, Moreton Bay, on August 19, Queensland Police said. Emergency services were called to Mount Samson Road at about 1:55 p.m. after a white Hyundai Kona collided with a white Volkswagen Amarok. The Dayboro woman, who was driving the Kona, died at the scene. The 54-year-old driver of the Amarok was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the collision.
