Samsung has showcased an AI Assistant designed to help teachers create more accessible and engaging lessons on compatible Android-based Samsung Interactive Displays. The tools support classroom instruction, resource discovery, student quizzes and lesson reviews, according to a Samsung Global Newsroom release published Aug. 19, 2026.

The Live Transcript feature converts a teacher’s spoken instructions into real-time text displayed on the interactive screen. Teachers can adjust the transcript’s language, font size and position, while students may view it on personal devices through Samsung’s screen-sharing application when both devices are connected to the same network.

Another feature, Circle to Search, allows teachers to highlight images or objects on the display to find related pictures, videos and web resources. Search results can then be added to the digital whiteboard, enabling instructors to introduce additional examples without leaving the lesson.

Samsung AI Assistant also includes AI Quiz, which generates questions from recorded lesson transcripts or uploaded materials, and My Lessons, which stores recordings, transcripts and AI-generated summaries. Samsung said teachers can use quiz results to identify areas requiring additional instruction, while noting that feature availability varies by model and region and that AI-generated information may be inaccurate.
