A 47-year-old Karalee man has been charged with murder following the death of a 66-year-old man during an alleged altercation at a Beenleigh residence on August 18, Queensland Police said. Police were called to a Lubach Street property at about 4:45 p.m. after reports that three people known to one another were involved in an altercation. The 66-year-old man was allegedly stabbed. Officers began CPR when they arrived, but he died at the scene. A 43-year-old Beenleigh woman was also taken into custody and remains under police guard in hospital. Police said she is expected to assist with the investigation. The accused man is due to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 19, while inquiries continue.
