Two people have been charged after Queensland police allegedly found drugs, a firearm and ammunition during a search of a Goodna address on August 15. Police said officers had been investigating a white Toyota Camry hire vehicle after reports its driver had been seen with a firearm. The vehicle was tracked to the address, where police conducted an emergent search. Officers allegedly seized 233 grams of methamphetamine, 30 grams of cocaine, 50 grams of cannabis, a shotgun allegedly stolen in a 2018 break-in, 199 rounds of ammunition and other items suspected of being stolen. A 24-year-old Goodna woman and a 23-year-old Goodna man were each charged with multiple drug and weapons offences, as well as possessing suspected stolen property and drug-related utensils. The woman was due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on August 18, while the man appeared in the same court on August 16. Police said investigations into the seized items are continuing.
