A 26-year-old man sustained serious injuries when a motorcycle collided with two vehicles near West Haldon on August 8, Queensland Police said. The crash occurred on Gatton-Clifton Road at Heffer Creek shortly before noon. Police said initial investigations indicate the motorcycle was travelling north when it struck a caravan being towed by a Nissan Navara, followed by a trailer being towed by a Volkswagen Amarok travelling in the opposite direction. The rider, from Wilsonton, was airlifted to hospital. The 35-year-old Nissan driver from Summerholm and the 52-year-old Volkswagen driver from Sinnamon Park were not physically injured. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
