First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska outlined cooperation between Ukraine’s diplomatic missions and humanitarian initiatives at the annual ambassadors’ meeting, “Restoring Peace and Ukraine’s Leadership,” according to the Ukrainian president’s official website. Zelenska said the Olena Zelenska Foundation had delivered about 150 generators to schools, kindergartens, medical and social institutions, and family-type children’s homes with support from Ukrainian embassies. Czechia provided 35 generators and Sweden supplied 60. The assistance helped provide heat to 94 schools, 22 preschools and 13 medical institutions, reaching tens of thousands of children, she said. She added that cooperation with diplomatic missions was continuing through the Safe School and Room for Childhood projects. The initiatives focus on equipping shelters in educational institutions and building homes for large foster families amid Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine. Zelenska also credited diplomats with expanding the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies, which has grown to 101 universities in 27 countries over two years. She highlighted Ukrainian Weeks held in the United Kingdom, France, Spain and Poland, as well as efforts to install Ukrainian-language audio guides at international landmarks and support the upcoming Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen in Kyiv. She also thanked the spouses of Ukrainian diplomats for their contributions to diplomatic work. Post navigation Ukraine Urges Diplomats to Deliver Ukraine Seeks Dutch Air Defense Support
