Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of Lockheed Martin in Washington to discuss expanding cooperation between Ukraine and the U.S. defense company, including joint production and technology exchange.

Zelenskyy thanked the company’s team for its support and assistance to Ukraine. The meeting focused on developing shared defense capabilities, including systems related to Patriot air defense and other military technologies.

According to the Ukrainian presidential office, the two sides are already working on specific proposals aimed at launching co-production as quickly as possible and strengthening Ukraine’s ability to protect lives. Lockheed Martin manufactures systems including ATACMS, HIMARS, F-16 aircraft and missiles for Patriot systems.
