Samsung Electronics America has unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Card, a co-branded credit card designed to offer cash rewards on everyday purchases and increased rewards on Samsung products. The card will be issued by Barclays US Consumer Bank through the Visa network, with general applications opening in the United States on July 22, 2026. Cardholders will receive 5% cash rewards on eligible purchases made directly through Samsung, 3% on purchases made with Samsung Wallet, 2% on selected streaming services and 1% on other purchases. The card also includes a 20% discount on Samsung VIP Advantage membership, subject to applicable terms. New customers can qualify for an additional $200 in bonus cash rewards after spending $2,000 during the first 90 days of account opening. The Galaxy Card will be available as a virtual card and as a metal physical card. It can be stored in Samsung Wallet alongside compatible payment cards, identification documents, passes and digital keys. Samsung said the service will use its Knox security platform and require a compatible Android device and Samsung account for Samsung Wallet access. Eligible customers can apply during an early-access period, while applications for the general public will begin July 22. Samsung is also scheduled to provide additional details about the card and its broader Galaxy lineup during its Galaxy Unpacked event, which will be streamed through Samsung’s website, Newsroom and YouTube channel.
