A teenager faces multiple charges following a two-vehicle accident in Elimbah, Queensland, which occurred on the night of July 8. Investigations by Queensland Police are ongoing, as they also seek to identify the driver of the second vehicle involved. The incident happened around 10:10 pm when a gold Ford Falcon collided with a gold Nissan Patrol on Beerburrum Road near Jacks Lane. The collision caused the Nissan Patrol to roll onto its side, resulting in minor injuries to its 19-year-old female driver and her 17-year-old male passenger. Following the crash, the occupants of the Ford Falcon reportedly fled the scene on foot and were later seen in a blue Ford Falcon, which was stopped by police due to mechanical issues. The driver allegedly attempted to flee but complied with police after a brief interaction, during which he was found to have a breath alcohol concentration of 0.092 percent. A 17-year-old boy from Morayfield has been charged with various offences including driving without supervision, not wearing a seatbelt, driving a defective vehicle, not displaying L plates, and driving over the general but not middle alcohol limit without a proper license. He is scheduled to appear at Caboolture Children’s Court on July 15. The Queensland Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant information or footage of the incident to come forward to aid in their investigation. They continue to probe the circumstances leading to the crash and the identity of the driver of the gold Ford Falcon. Post navigation Euramo’s Grim Evening Booval Hit by Armed Robberies
