A fatal traffic incident in Runcorn has claimed the life of a 72-year-old woman from Kingston. According to the Queensland Police Service, the accident occurred just before 7:30 PM on June 28, when the pedestrian was struck by an eastbound vehicle on Beenleigh Road. The vehicle did not stop after the collision. The victim sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. The Forensic Crash Unit, along with the Upper Mount Gravatt Criminal Investigation Branch, is conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
